The Ebi-Ayo Supper Club is a unique dining series that combines the communal essence of “Ebi” (family in Yoruba) and the joyous spirit of “Ayo” (meaning joy or happiness) to provide guests with a memorable culinary journey. Our 5-course family-style dining merges Nigerian traditions with Italian flavors, aiming to bridge cultural gaps, foster community and enhance relationships through a shared love of food.
Our Story
The Ebi-Ayo Supper Club is more than a dinner. It’s a gathering where culture, community, and connection come together. The name itself blends the Yoruba words Ebi (family) and Ayo (joy), reflecting our mission to create experiences that celebrate belonging and togetherness.
Ebi-Ayo is rooted in my own journey. I was born in Nigeria, and when my family relocated to Columbia, Missouri in December 1998, the very first meal I had in America was Italian food. That moment sparked a lifelong connection to Italian cuisine. It shaped my childhood, followed me into adulthood, and fueled my love for cooking.

Our menu blends bold West African flavors with classic Italian techniques. Think Lobster Jollof Risotto, Fried Fufu-Gnocchi, and Truffle Yam Polenta—each dish tells a story of heritage and innovation. From fresh starters like the Amore Pepper Soup with tender lamb meatballs and warm Agege bread to our nostalgic Puff-Puff served with Chef Tayo’s homemade Vanilla Gelato, every course is crafted to spark connection. Wine pairings included.
